I don't know if you should. I'm having another idea. I've been researching the places I could run to, but the idea of just running away and leaving everything and everyone I care for behind sucks. Maybe I could take advantage of the time differences here to build my shields up more and head home with an ultimatum. If that goes badly or if I can tell they're pretending to agree so they can get me later, I Portal away and don't come back. It's a risk, but it feels less like a total surrender.

Then maybe you could go by and tell them they're morons.

"D'you want me to ask my Crawford if you can stay with us? I don't know exactly what we've got coming up for work since he's playing against some other precogs or something, but he might agree that we owe you." Nagi would never suggest that his Crawford likes someone for anything other than a source of monetary gain, but he sure as hell thinks it.
