Out Beyond

"Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I'll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, and even the phrase 'each other'
doesn't make any sense."

-- Rumi

::Thanks. Since you're the kinda guy who takes life by the neck with your teeth, I can see you for "Not Here." "The Freshness"... always seemed to me to show an almost obliterating love.::

::Then again, I think Shriekback's "My Spine (Is the Bass Line)" is high art, so what do I know?::

::Obliterating? Aye, I suppose it could be. I've always thought of it more as... unrestrained, and open, a sudden warmth in the rain. Surrounding, rather than obscuring. *g* And I've no grounds to comment on Shriekback when I've such an appreciation for Andy Bell.::

::I'm more familiar with heat than warmth. I think it's the "nowhere" that gets to me.::

::Who can argue with immortal lines like "I don't wanna look like some kind of fool / I don't wanna break my heart over you / I'm building a wall / Every day it's getting higher / This time I won't end up another victim of love"?::
