Schu and Aya are having a domestic day at Schu's flat together. Their kind of domestic.

"This ice tea is good. Are you sure you made it?" Aya asked as he continued to drink.

"You suck... not nearly enough. Yeah, I made it. I put a pitcher of water with some tea bags out in the sun. Big deal." Schu stretches out on the chair to be more enticing.

"Are you trying to distract me from the tea?"

"Hey. One of the biggest sources of annoyance in my life right now is the Persia in my world. Is it going to upset you if I start insulting him? Normally, I wouldn't care, but I still kinda hope to sleep with you some day, so I guess I should care about your feelings or something."

"It was more surprising when the Nagi in my world was working with Mamoru than that you have issues with Persia. I'll survive hearing some badmouthing.

"I heard that, you know." And Nagi would rather like to know the answer as well, but only if it's in his favor. "Should I pick up food on the way?"

"I could eat. Schu can always eat."

I resent that. But I could eat. Surprise us, Nagi.

"Alright. Be there soon." Nagi hangs up. It's about twenty minutes later that he knocks on Schuldig's door.

::Schu opens the door. He and Aya are both wearing lightweight summer clothes and house slippers.:: Come in. Iced tea? You can add sugar at your own rate. Mr. Boring over there isn't into pre-sweetened.

"I don't like really sweet things."

"Wish I'd known that before I picked up the food." Nagi switches to his own slippers before helping himself to tea, and tastes it before adding three heaping spoonfuls of sugar.

"Food now or later?"

You know Ayas, honey. Food now. ::They might want to be occupied later.::

"Food now is fine."

"The only Aya I was in the habit of eating with is a girl. And the last Aya I ate with treated me to ice cream." Nagi's proud of that one, since it was on Aya's birthday. Besides, Nagi's in the mood to grumble about things.

The meal consists of asparagus in basalmic vinegar and sea salt, garlic-ginger pasta tossed with pine nuts and carrots, honey-glazed strawberry salad, oysters, and truffles (the mushroom kind, not the candy kind). There are also chocolate pastry cups with nutmeg-vanilla sauce and raspberries for dessert.

Nagi also got a bottle of red wine, though he's content with iced tea.

I never underestimate your mooching powers. I bet it wasn't one of the really sweet flavors he chose for himself. ::Looking at the food, Schu sees what you did thar, Nagi, and he's amused.::

"It looks interesting. I'm interested in trying something new."

Nagi is also amused now, mostly because Schu gets it and Aya doesn't. "Oh? Which parts are new to you, Aya?" Nagi picks up a length of asparagus and nibbles on it.

::Aya isn't sneaky in that way. Schu sees that as at once a debit and a thing to take advantage of.::

"The pasta is tossed with some things I'm not familiar with. The strawberries are glazed with honey?"

::Schu is setting out plates, cups, eating utensils, and napkins. He can too be domestic.::

Nagi nods and licks his fingers clean. "The spices on the pasta should be fairly familiar, so only the pine nuts will be new. And yeah, it's a light dressing on the strawberries." After a moment's debate, Nagi snags another spear of asparagus.

"Pine nuts. That's what I'm not used to." ::Aya takes some asparagus to make sure Nagi doesn't eat it all. He raises an eyebrow as Schu snatches some off his plate.:: "A light dressing should be good. Thank you for this. Usually food in this place is made only by me."

I made something for your birthday.

::Aya blushes a little.:: "And it was good. What should I get you for yours?"

I don't know. I like a lot of stuff.

"Schu likes surprises, so if you plan too far in advance, you raise the odds of him figuring out what you're up to." Nagi shifts to behaving himself enough to dish food out onto his plate.

...mostly. "Hey, Schu, what do you think of the sauce on the strawberries." Nagi offers a strawberry on his fork.

Brad and my Nagi haven't done anything for my birthday yet, but they still have time.

::Schu leans over to tongue the strawberry for a taste.:: Mmmm. Nice. ::He takes the strawberry with his teeth and eats it, then licks his lips. Aya is trying not to look turned on by it.::

Nagi can't do innocent. He just doesn't know it, so Aya gets a smirk when Schu's done. "Would you like a strawberry, too, Aya?"

::Aya's aware that he was unfortunately transparent to the two telepaths.:: "Yes, but I can't take it like Schu did."

Sure you can. It's easy. And I know you can do hot things.

"I'd feel silly and self-conscious."

Nagi offers Aya a strawberry as if there were no protests. "It tastes better this way. And it would be totally hot for you to nibble at the end of my... fork."

"You and Schu are both so classy." ::Aya takes a little lick, enough to confirm that the sauce is nice, not too sweet, then bites. Nagi probably wouldn't want his... fork treated like that, which is the point.:: "It's good."

::Schu is snickering; he can't help himself. Aya always has to fight things, but sometimes that adds to the fun.::

Bitten clean through? No, not really, but a little bit of roughness is hot. And getting Aya to play at all is still a victory as far as Nagi's concerned.

"Glad you like it."

There's plenty to the meal. Nagi can just let Aya eat in peace for a bit.

::...that didn't seem to dissuade Nagi at all. Then again, Schu didn't seem to mind some roughness either. He really has no idea how this was going to end. He actually found Nagi a bit attractive but finds a lot of the forwardness vulgar and presumptuous. Putting up with it from Schu can be bad enough, and at least the telepath didn't do it as much when he knew it would prevent him from getting sex.::

::Aya eats, sampling everything, enjoying the respite.:: It's all very good.

::Schuldig alternates between eating and watching Aya.:: Yep. Definitely.

"I can't take credit for cooking any of it this time." Nagi has picked up on his flirting being a bit too heavy-handed for the time being. He doesn't really know how to do subtle, so he just won't flirt with Aya for a bit.

"Oh, did Schu remember to deliver your birthday present?"

"I still give you credit for choosing and bringing it.

"He did. I enjoy the tea. The sweater looks good on me, but I can't really wear it until the temperature gets lower."

I was a good boy.

"I wouldn't go that far."
