I never underestimate your mooching powers. I bet it wasn't one of the really sweet flavors he chose for himself. ::Looking at the food, Schu sees what you did thar, Nagi, and he's amused.::

"It looks interesting. I'm interested in trying something new."

Nagi is also amused now, mostly because Schu gets it and Aya doesn't. "Oh? Which parts are new to you, Aya?" Nagi picks up a length of asparagus and nibbles on it.

::Aya isn't sneaky in that way. Schu sees that as at once a debit and a thing to take advantage of.::

"The pasta is tossed with some things I'm not familiar with. The strawberries are glazed with honey?"

::Schu is setting out plates, cups, eating utensils, and napkins. He can too be domestic.::

Nagi nods and licks his fingers clean. "The spices on the pasta should be fairly familiar, so only the pine nuts will be new. And yeah, it's a light dressing on the strawberries." After a moment's debate, Nagi snags another spear of asparagus.

"Pine nuts. That's what I'm not used to." ::Aya takes some asparagus to make sure Nagi doesn't eat it all. He raises an eyebrow as Schu snatches some off his plate.:: "A light dressing should be good. Thank you for this. Usually food in this place is made only by me."

I made something for your birthday.

::Aya blushes a little.:: "And it was good. What should I get you for yours?"

I don't know. I like a lot of stuff.

"Schu likes surprises, so if you plan too far in advance, you raise the odds of him figuring out what you're up to." Nagi shifts to behaving himself enough to dish food out onto his plate.

...mostly. "Hey, Schu, what do you think of the sauce on the strawberries." Nagi offers a strawberry on his fork.

"...great."

Brad and my Nagi haven't done anything for my birthday yet, but they still have time.

::Schu leans over to tongue the strawberry for a taste.:: Mmmm. Nice. ::He takes the strawberry with his teeth and eats it, then licks his lips. Aya is trying not to look turned on by it.::

Nagi can't do innocent. He just doesn't know it, so Aya gets a smirk when Schu's done. "Would you like a strawberry, too, Aya?"

::Aya's aware that he was unfortunately transparent to the two telepaths.:: "Yes, but I can't take it like Schu did."

Sure you can. It's easy. And I know you can do hot things.

"I'd feel silly and self-conscious."

Nagi offers Aya a strawberry as if there were no protests. "It tastes better this way. And it would be totally hot for you to nibble at the end of my... fork."

"You and Schu are both so classy." ::Aya takes a little lick, enough to confirm that the sauce is nice, not too sweet, then bites. Nagi probably wouldn't want his... fork treated like that, which is the point.:: "It's good."

::Schu is snickering; he can't help himself. Aya always has to fight things, but sometimes that adds to the fun.::

Bitten clean through? No, not really, but a little bit of roughness is hot. And getting Aya to play at all is still a victory as far as Nagi's concerned.

"Glad you like it."

There's plenty to the meal. Nagi can just let Aya eat in peace for a bit.

::...that didn't seem to dissuade Nagi at all. Then again, Schu didn't seem to mind some roughness either. He really has no idea how this was going to end. He actually found Nagi a bit attractive but finds a lot of the forwardness vulgar and presumptuous. Putting up with it from Schu can be bad enough, and at least the telepath didn't do it as much when he knew it would prevent him from getting sex.::

::Aya eats, sampling everything, enjoying the respite.:: It's all very good.

::Schuldig alternates between eating and watching Aya.:: Yep. Definitely.

"I can't take credit for cooking any of it this time." Nagi has picked up on his flirting being a bit too heavy-handed for the time being. He doesn't really know how to do subtle, so he just won't flirt with Aya for a bit.

"Oh, did Schu remember to deliver your birthday present?"

"I still give you credit for choosing and bringing it.

"He did. I enjoy the tea. The sweater looks good on me, but I can't really wear it until the temperature gets lower."

I was a good boy.

"I wouldn't go that far."

::Schu pouts in an exaggerated way.::

Nagi is pleased. "Glad you like it. One of your alts started complaining that no one likes his fashion sense when I gave him something similar."

"You have more fun being naughty, Schu." Speaking of naughty, can Nagi cop a feel under the table without being totally obvious about it?

"People think I've improved these days, so I don't get as much crap about how I dress." ::The idea of having alternates still blows his mind. He thought that was only something that would come up in a science fiction story.::

True, but if I were naughty all the time I'd be predictable. ::Nagi is completely welcome to cop a feel.::

"i figure that as long as people act like they belong in what they wear, they can wear whatever they want. Except for the fat chicks who wear really tight low-rider jeans. That's just gross."

Nagi figures Schu will let him. He just doesn't want to make Aya more twitchy right now, hence the not-totally-obvious desire.

"I think most people shouldn't wear really tight low-rider jeans."

::Schu figures that Aya can handle not-totally-obvious better. In any case, he'd really appreciate some molestation right now.::

"True. I bet you'd look good in them."

Yes, yes, molest, molest, molest!

"Maybe. I don't have any excess weight there. I just don't like them."

::Schu purrs into Nagi's head to show how much he's enjoying it. Aya can see that something is going on but since it's not in his face he'll ignore it in favor of eating for now.::

Nagi remembers in time that Yohji is not a conversation topic for around this particular Aya. "I guess that's fair. They do tend to look better on chicks than guys."

Nagi is actually more interested in food as well. There's no conscious art to how he's eating, but the food if just so good that Nagi has to savor it. It's so rare for him to indulge in truffles.

::He loved Yohji, but in spite of his clothing preferences. Not that it had ended well anyway.:: "The women who wear it best tend to be very... flat in many ways. Not my type."

"Why, Aya, you like more rounded women?"

"Yes." ::It's not a comfortable conversation topic, so....:: "Actually, I don't think I've had truffles before either."

::Schu will give him points for trying.:: I don't have them often.

"They're a special occasion food, but today I'm celebrating that I've gone a whole week without killing my employer."

I celebrate for any reason I can. Celebrations make life better.

"I've been coming around to that point of view myself. But Persia is really that bad?"
