The Gift He'll Love
I didn't hit the next day candy sales as hard as usual--though I picked up some Peeps and Cadbury Creme Eggs--because friends sent me a shipment of the good, rich stuff: Lindt chocolate. Though they sent me some of the really unusual flavors. So far I've tried the Lindt Gefüllte Edelbitter-Chocolade mit dunkler Mousse Zitrone-Basilikum, and I really wish it tasted more of lemon and less of basil. I'm not kidding, folks: basil is the strongest flavor. (By contrast, Frey Suprême Citron & Poivre Dark Chocolate bar has a small bite of pepper to its lemony flavor.)
I still have the Lindt Gefüllte Edelbitter-Chocolade mit dunkler Mousse Blaubeer-Lavendel, Lindt Mango & Cayenne, Lindt Maracuja & Jalapeño, Lindt Excellence Earl Grey Tee, and Lindt Excellence Himbeer Intense to try.

I was imagining chewy and slimy, which is a big no for me. I only eat squid deep fried with a nice coating and dip.

Which is to say, I'm going to have Watanuki cook more than necessary and we'll eat the scraps together.
