The Gift He'll Love
Mar. 25th, 2008 08:32 pmI didn't hit the next day candy sales as hard as usual--though I picked up some Peeps and Cadbury Creme Eggs--because friends sent me a shipment of the good, rich stuff: Lindt chocolate. Though they sent me some of the really unusual flavors. So far I've tried the Lindt Gefüllte Edelbitter-Chocolade mit dunkler Mousse Zitrone-Basilikum, and I really wish it tasted more of lemon and less of basil. I'm not kidding, folks: basil is the strongest flavor. (By contrast, Frey Suprême Citron & Poivre Dark Chocolate bar has a small bite of pepper to its lemony flavor.)
I still have the Lindt Gefüllte Edelbitter-Chocolade mit dunkler Mousse Blaubeer-Lavendel, Lindt Mango & Cayenne, Lindt Maracuja & Jalapeño, Lindt Excellence Earl Grey Tee, and Lindt Excellence Himbeer Intense to try.

Hana gave me White Day chocolate! Mmmm. Not that this makes me his bitch or anything. I had some White Day fun with Yuuko too. Kaa showed up in the Nexus for the first time in a while.
((Schu called
sinofsurviving and Morpheus home from War. Nagi's working on a hopeless cause, although his later huge apology gift got a thank you from Gojyo. Gojyo asked the Nexus a highly hypothetical question, then went out to drink happy LOL beer with
feline_casanova and bluntly and easily talk about topics to each other that they would usually punch other people for even trying to bring up.))
Brody did a post full of spam, but at least he likes Annie Lennox. He got a tiny pony as a gift, but I still don't know what he's going to name it, although he did mention "Sir Mephistopheles Bartholomew von Ponybutt, Esq.," which is an awfully large and grandiose name for such a small horse. He also gave me a little compliment. I can always use compliments. Besides, I try to cheer him up.
Cole Cash blew up a Catholic church, but Metal Jesus is fine with that. James Hook asked which is the worst fear: fear based on supposition or fear based on solid fact. Belgarath is snarky and weird. Swan came into the Nexus with contracts for people to signtheir souls away for a music career, and Eli Sunday ended up getting a royal ass kicking in the process. Afterwards, Eli went looking for a first aid kit but found more trouble ((Brody and Hana are especially fun here)). Tsk. The Nexus can be a dangerous place.

Has Sprung
Apr. 2nd, 2007 04:05 pmSpring is in the air, and so are personal ads for love or at least some kind of terrifying hook-up. Even Daleks are responding. I can't stand being too close to Daleks since I can actually read the screaming little minds inside the pepper pot casings, but damn are they hilarious from a distance.
Al's back! We just needed Edward Elric #1,346 (Ah, ah!) to arrive to bring him out. Kitten Tits has grown up a bit, but at least he's not all angular and gawky like he was during that one growing-up LOL. We like our Alphonses soft and cute! Rounded and firmly packed!
Kaa did an April Fool's Day joke. It's a shame it wasn't real, because just think of a little baby Kaa looking for strokings! That would have been the coolest! I was tempted to do an April Fool's joke but couldn't think of something folks would think of as completely out of character for me.
I'm having a Frey Suprême Citron & Poivre Dark Chocolate bar, and it's so good.
((Yup, it's Spring and sap is rising ::cough::, as is denial, so in
dear_mun Schu is poking
some_priest and his mun about some notmaking out that has been going on.))
