Red Light, Green Light
Nov. 19th, 2006 03:01 pmBrad's definitely working on winning me.
We just finished this job that went even better than usual. We were happy, the client was happy, all was damned good. So we're after-mission jazzed at the apartment, all freshly clean and our guns taken care of but not ready to call it a night when Brad comes to my bedroom and says he wants to take me out to show me something. He's pretty hard to read--though I could feel his excitement at that moment easily--and I decided not to even try to peek because Brad can be fun when he's in "got a surprise" mode. We drove to this exclusive little place in Shinjuku where he led me past all kinds of interesting clothing on display before settling me in front of what he'd brought me to see: a sleeveless brocade shirt with a Mandarin collar and golden silk knot closures in a vibrant green with gold phoenixes embroidered on it. And it has criss-cross laces in back to adjust the fit. It was lush and expensive, it was me, and I wanted it. Didn't care how much it was. As I lusted, Brad said with a smile that he saw it online and knew who it was for. He also watched intently, hotly, as the staff took my measurements to custom-make one for me.... I can't wait until it's ready. Then we went to Kabukicho and spent the whole night painting the red light establishments a deeper red.
I hope this lasts for a while, because Brad hasn't been this much fun for this long in ages, and I deserve to be spoiled.
