::Lounging on his favorite Nexus couch, Schu's dressed in a loose white linen shirt and pants and has his bare feet lightly resting on the dozing Fluffy's back. With a tiger's sleepy purring humming through his toes, he's drowsy and feeling warm and lazy.::

I was in such a crap mood for a while, but everything's much better now. Sometimes I just need a mental realignment. Basking in the sun for a while helps too.

His own name is hard to pronounce and means something like "Keen of Eye and Swift of Claw." I can't get all the rrrrr and growly bits right so he asks me not to try. I explained the joke about "fluffy" and he's fine with me calling him that. No tiger without a sense of humor would have me anyway.

I met up with him when there was that Nexus contest about who's the bigger pimp, Greed or me, and I wanted to make a flashy entrance. Fluffy understands about male competition and agreed to help me out. We've been as close to buddies as a guy can get with a tiger since.

::scritches Fluffy's back with his toes:: I can't hear him talk like I hear you talk. It's all mind to mind, and his mind doesn't think the same way mine does.

Hmph. I suspect he wouldn't find me as entertaining without the language barrier. Then he wouldn't be able to tease me about my inability to speak Tiger.

I'm not really sure if the animals of my reality can speak to Man in a way Man understands but choose not to. I just read their minds.
