One Potato, Two Potato, More?

When we were in bed this morning Brad asked me if I wanted more teammates. Made me feel kind of like a kid whose parents were talking to him about having another kid. He said he hadn't done anything about getting any yet, just noticed that I seemed happier with more people around.
I told him I didn't need more people. Besides, we're so established together that anyone coming in fresh would have to start muckraking or currying favor with one or the other of us just to feel on par with us, and it's not like we wanna go announcing that we're Rosenkreuz alumni or have special abilities to just anybody. Trust isn't a common thing among people in our profession.
Brad liked my reasoning. I could tell that he'd considered bringing more people in mostly to make me happier and more productive.
Brad being considerate and calculating at once. I can handle that.
