So I heard Kid Rock's "So Hot," sometimes subtitled "The Stripper's Anthem," and it's, uhm, genius. Ja. I'm particularly intrigued by the line "I wanna fuck you like I'm never gonna see you again." I'm sure he means that he's going to have dirty, kinky sex, but when I hear that line I can only think that it's Kid Rock and he's gonna fuck her badly and not worry about it.

You're young, and at least you're out there doing things. Everybody screws up once in a while. If it never happens, you're either not living life or not challenging yourself.

But if you see it that way, okay. Just make sure that doing this is what you really want and you won't regret it, because life is too short. I just worry about you because I've had people trying to shape me into something else my whole life. Some of that worked and some of it didn't, and not all the enforced changes were positive, ya know?

I've had excellent sex. I'm a telepath. I feel what I'm feeling, I feel what my partner's feeling, I feed all of that back to my partner who's then further amped up by all that pleasure.... ::dreamy smile:: But there's something about leaping out into the air several stories above the ground while the mundanes are like ants so far below and the anticipation of lying in wait for your target and seeing your and your leader's plan become a reality.... I just helped rescue someone, so the thrill of it all is underscored for me right now. He got kidnapped by an alt of the organization that used to own and abuse me so giving it to them in the teeth was extra super satisfying.

That's how it should be. I've never had a longterm partner who couldn't protect my back. In fact, certain people recently failing to want to really ticked me off, and my team leader is making some necessary changes.

Chemistry. You know, like how some people click immediately while others hate each other on sight. You don't know that until you interact.

Somebody who takes up the slack on your weaker spots, while your strong points fill in their problem areas. Sum being greater than its parts. That's ideal.

Somebody you can be clear with. You know each other's values and what's most important. You don't want someone where you'll be surprised by how they are in the field, so you have to be able to talk to this person and know this person will talk to you without things turning into a festival of passive-aggression.

Heh. Appearance and gender would be distant considerations after personality and talents. Besides, my tastes are broad.

It's a sweet idea, but the person would have to be able to survive getting fragged by my enraged team members. There's the psycho who shoots lightning, licks knives, doesn't feel pain, thinks he's in love with me, and doesn't take no for an answer on one side, and my very possessive team leader wondering how the hell I decided I had the clearance to work with someone he didn't pick himself on the other. Some days I barely keep the balance within the team as it already is. Bringing someone else in would make it even more volatile.
